What does my Jeep Cherokee's (1999) radiator fan keep turning off and on quickly?

It starts up and stops, starts up and stops continuously. I added more coolant one time and it stopped. It is still going now though and the coolant is at the right level. Maybe some kind of sensor has gone bad?

Sounds to me like the radiator fan relay. I have had to replace mine about 4 times. Mines a 2003. Im not sure what you know about that kind of thing, but it's in behind the bumper under the headlight. Eventually the guy that does my work just cut a small
