Had to drive without oil, will car be ok?

My AC pulley cover flew off and put a hole in my oil filter. I lost all oil pressure in about 1 mile. In the middle of nowhere, taped up the oil filter and had one quart of oil to put in. Drove about 8 miles to a gas station and put 2 more quarts in.
