I'd like to take up knitting, which starter kit do you recommend?
I'd really like to learn how to knit. For those of you who have used starter kits, which ones do you recommend? Or is it better to just buy everything separately and a how to book? I need help, please and thank you! :)
I bought everything seperately. Cheap yarn for starters (but be aware, it may start splitting - can be frustrating but it's better for learning) and 4.0mm needles. The smaller the needles the harder it is to control but in the beginning, you get the hang
A good starter kit is Denise Interchangeable Knitting Needles. Look into it! (Also, here's a tip for straightening out coiled up circular needles: let them soak in warm water for a few minutes. It's convenient if your needle cable lies flat for this).
