I have a 1998 Ford Escort Sport, auto Transmission and I need to change the oil filter but don't know where it is!
Look underneath the engine, and look upward, on the side of the engine that faces the firewall, where the right side axle shaft is, you'll see the oil filter, just above the shaft. If you have the 2.0L SPI engine, it's a Ford/Motorcraft FL-400S oil filter.

Stocking up for a year - three oil filters, and one cabin and one air filter. Ordered online from RockAuto.com, which saved me about $80.
I had the oil changed in the Mustang before our California trip and liked this 3-view monitor of my baby.
Well I've cleaned every cleanable part and replaced almost everything that needed replacing so it should be good to go. If I just take it easy on the throttle I might be able to get better gas mileage.
