How do I remove a hub nut on a 1996 honda accord if the wheel bearing has collapsed.?

I'm replacing the brake pads and rotors and was told by a garage that the bearing had failed. When I'm trying to break loose the hub nut the entire shaft turns, If the bearing is collapsed will this prevent removal of the nut.

If it is that bad, you will have to remove the entire axle and replace the bearing and the axle.
See http://mibearings.com for new bearings.
They might also have new axles so ask them, maybe you can get a better deal.
