has anyone else ever been ripped of by their main car dealer (uk) for repairs?
ok so i've had a problem with my clutch and took it to be looked at by halfords cos they did a free clutch check. spoke to my dad about the money and things on the phone cos he was gonna help me out and he rang the main dealer. i've got a peugeot 206
ANY time you visit a car dealer, someone will try to rip you off.
That said, any reasonable mechanic would warn you if major components were failing and their likely cost.
