This product is the coolest! It’s not as compact as I would like, but than it wouldn’t be as great of a product that it is. I was looking for a cd player with the ipod and there’s not many out there. I recommend this system for the sound, the easy operating system and the looks. I love the remote as well. I basically use it for the studio where I conduct art lessons and also use for louder sound for parties.
Very sleek and fits perfectly on a small dresser. Excellent sound that fills the room very well. Love the sliding panel that hides the iPod and CD player, esp. since I have a pet and a baby who’ll be moving around soon. Haven’t used the alarm clock yet and the time is not displayed but not an issue for me. I love this product! Great value for the money.

passive radiators?
will a passive radiator help by adding more cone surface to the system for more thump or just be good for adding lows? 1 have a 10'' sub and want to add to 15''s passive radiators in a sealed box.
Check out my picture, I have the BostonAcoustics G5 10" with GTR 10" tunable passive radiator. Very nice for 1 powered 10"! It rivals most peoples' 2 12's.

Passive radiators HAVE to be made FOR the sub in order for them to be compatible. Otherwise either it'll be tuned too high or too low, making for Crappy sound.
They (the PR and the sub it was designed for) HAVE to be in a box recommended by the manufacturer. Otherwise damage may occur to one or the other.
