My [older] gas furnace "runs" without blowing?
This is an older gas furnace (unsure of brand - I'm putting off crawling under the house!) and it worked fine when we had a manual thermostat. But I put in a programmable one and now it does this funny thing where it sounds like the motor part is still
I'm assuming you don't have a/c, you have two wires going to the stat for heat only. If this is the case the two wires are connected to Rh and W, not Y as you mentioned. If you connected it to Y it would make the stat work incorrectly.Look at the stat
