How much gas should come out of my fuel filter when I replace it?
I have a 1990 camaro rs. I was just changing my fuel filter and after I got the bolt off for the out end of the filter gas started coming out. I expected a little to come out but it just kept coming in a steady stream so I quickly put the bolt back on.
NO . IT WILL NOT ALL LEAK OUT....JUST WHAT IS LOADED IN THE LINES...USE A CATCH PAN AND LET IT DRAIN......JUST MAKE SURE YOU PUT THE FILTER IN WITH THE ARROW TOWARDS THE ENGINE...GOOD LUCK!
Fuel pump, diagnostics and filter should be covered. They drove it for a week. Hope they filled the gas. That would suck if not.

Just finished changing my dads fuel filter and fuel pump. ( hint:If your working with fuel wear goggles. Cuz gas in the eye hurts so bad!!)
