Repair my car or save for a new one?

Okay so I have a 1996 Ford Taurus and I've had problems with it. I've been planning on saving money for a new car but I was talking to a friend and he said I might just want to repair the car.

Ford Taurus Info/Problems:
-Replaced

Honestly, it sounds like you should stick with the car. Its solid, though it does have some problems, if you friend is willing to help you, let him. So far it's been getting you around, you still have cash in your pocket.
