Should the anitfreeze level go down in the radiator once the vehicle has been started and run for a while?
We recently rebuilt a Ford 8N tractor and we bought a brand new radiator for it. We added 1 gallon of antifreeze and 1 gallon of water and it filled the radiator right up. We started it up and had it run for 15 minutes until we shut it off. The next
You did everything correct. The only reason the level would go down is if there is still air in the system. If your level did not change over night then your system has as much of the air out of it as possible. replace the cap and fill the over flow.
