Can a gas oven's thermostat be fixed ? Or what local store might sell a replacement thermostat ?
We hadn't used our oven since last Thanksgiving, so my husband spent an hour yesterday giving it a good cleaning. He relit all the pilot lights, and all four burners as well as the oven seemed to work fine. Then suddenly the heat stopped in the oven.
