How much should a brake pad replacement cost for a 2003 Honda Civic?

The brakes are making that warning noise and NOW when I am in reverse it squeals when I'm not braking...very embarrassing. I don't wanna get ripped off and I want to at least sound like I know what I'm talking about when I bring my car in. Also, any recommendations

ask around n u would get the best price. dont wait to long though other u cud damge the disc
