How to remove 1999 ford taurus starter?

I have a 1999 tarus we're having problems removing the starter to replace it. We can't find where the bolts are, are the accessable from under the hood or just under the car and whats involved in removing it

the starter and the bolts will be connected some where on the gearbox, your best bet is to remove from under the engine not over the top...
