Whats the difference between Plain, Drilled, Slotted, vented brake rotors?
What are the best?

A "plain" (I assume you mean solid) rotor is just that. A solid piece of cast iron. In the early days of disc brake systems most rotors were solid. Today solid rotors are typically found only on the rear axle.
