This is what I just purchased last week and currently installing in my home. This was a juggle against the Vista20P which I had to choose. I went with the bosch as it was sold locally and everything was include. As the Vista20P I had to choose the phone module to remote control the arm via the touch tone phone via DTMF. You won't beat the Bosch stuff - been using the 16+ for over a year now & had no problems what so ever. I don't know if you have the Bosch Ultima 880 v2 over there but there is a firmware problem with it that they are working on. The Ultima has been around now for about 10yrs so I don't know what they do to introduce a firmware problem to a panel thats been working perfectly ok for that long !#%&# Inside of them, they have a silver TAG which you can pull and it will detect the bottom window for the motion sensor. Is there a need for this? Is the main window not good enough? I noticed on the silver TAG it says once pulled, you can't replace with a sticky tape to mask it back. I'm not sure what to do? Or if I pull it, does it disable the main motion window? The instructions do not mention it into detail. Pulling the tag off only enables the "lookdown" & doesn't affect the main window. Most PIRs are blind beneath themselves. Depending on the layout you could edge around a wall under the PIR & not be seen. There is not much point in using it if the PIR is mounted in a "blind" corner ( one with no doors or windows adjacent to the corner). Really it is your choice as to if you feel it should be used.
