How do i fix the flame oven thermostat safety switch?

I was cooking something in my Sharp carousel microwave when the plastic caught on fire. The microwave stopped half way through and I believe it is because of the flame oven thermostat safety switch. I need to know how I can fix this.

You don't fix a switch. If the switch is bad, it must be replaced. If the safety switch caused the microwave to shut down, and was not damaged in the process, it should have reset itself as soon as the unit cooled sufficiently.
