how much for a 1996 dodge intrepid alternator?

i need a alternator for my 1996 intrepid ES 3.5L. how much is the alternator and how much would it be to get the shop/mechanic to do it for me?

wow, the brand new one for the part alone is 275.99, before tax and not installed. labor is usually close to the price if the part from what i have seen. a rebuilt one is 165.00
