Should I get greenstuff EBC brake pads for a VL commodore?

I bought the standard OE pads made by EBC, after the salesman told me they were better than Bendix, but after reading a bit about them I think they might be the same, just imported and hard to sell. I want good pads because the ones i've got now squeal

go with HAWK's they are better than ebc, bendix, VL etc.
you can also find AKEBONO they are similar to hawk's in performance.
