Chopper motorcycle Air filter direction, vertical or horizontal?
I have a bullet (cone) air filter on the chopper I picked up recently. I know that it can be mounted vertically or horizontilly, but which way is better for performance? I like the way it looks vertical, but get kind of worried since when its in that
Doesn't really matter unless you ride in the rain (vertical might lead rainwater right down into your carb).
Horizontally it might get a ram-air effect at highway speeds, but if you like the look & sound of it vertical, then why change
