2000 PONTIAC MONTANA VAN, 3400 V6 THERMOSTAT ON DRIVER SIDE OF ENGINE. HOW DO I ACCESS THIS ITEM TO REPLACE IT?

Remove the air cleaner and the exhaust crossover pipe and then remove the thermostat housing and then the thermostat.
